Maurice P. Andrien, CIC
Maurice “Maury” Andrien is a Certified Insurance Consultant held in high esteem for both his community and professional involvement in the insurance and employee benefits industry. He was a former Principal of Professional Business Insurers, the President of Strategic Employee Benefit Service, and a Principal of eBenefits Group in Simsbury, Connecticut. Additionally, Maury is a past President for the Connecticut Chapter of NAHU (National Association of Health Underwriters), and has served on the Broker Advisory Board for Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA), the Connecticut Benefits Broker Association Board of Directors, and the National Broker Advisory Board for United Healthcare/Oxford. After a distinguished career as an officer in the U.S. Army, Maury began his insurance career as a life agent with The New England and Mass Mutual. Maury brings with him 25 years of experience in the employee benefits field, and a following of industry contacts, clients and friends. When not in the office, Maury resides in Bloomfield, CT and enjoys spending time with his two daughters, Ashley and Kelly. Maury enjoys playing golf, tennis and volunteering for various non-profit organizations.
Robert J. Jordan
After graduating from the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business & Economics, Rob trained and worked with the top insurance and financial service firms in the industry, such as Aetna's Bond Department, Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley Financial Services, Aetna's Prime Program (which included life, group health, property & casualty and agency management), and Northwestern Mutual Executive Benefits Life & Disability Services. Rob went on to found Jordan & Shea Inc, a full-service Insurance & Financial Services agency in Avon, CT which he and his partner eventually sold. Rob brings over 30 years’ experience along with his good-natured competitiveness, creativity, and drive to provide all his clients with cost-effective solutions for their personal and business goals. When away from the office, Rob enjoys spending time with his children, Robert Jr, Connor, Emily, and Catherine, as well as playing golf, racket sports, skiing, and volunteering with local charities and boards.
For the past 40 years, Marc Shafer has proven himself to be a dynamic, innovative, technologically savvy entrepreneurial business leader who has built a career recognizing opportunity and driving profitable business growth by delivering innovative solutions and exceptional results. He has more than twenty years of executive level leadership – excelling in multiple industries, and in small, mid-market and corporate environments. Since 1990, Mr. Shafer has bought two companies, sold three companies, and been involved with the merger or acquisition of five others. He currently sits on three Boards and has had service commitments in the CT Department of Corrections systems for over 25 years.
Dina has been in the health insurance industry for over five years. She began her insurance carrier at Insite Benefits Solutions in West Hartford Connecticut. At Insite Benefits she worked on the Small and Large Group Team department as an Account Manager in the Employee Benefits industry. Dina has a proven track record for outstanding customer service and retention. Dina joined Triangle Benefits in July of 2017 as an Account Executive. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Degree from Central Connecticut State University and her Master’s Degree in Education from Post University. Dina resides in Avon with her family.
